Morocco becomes world champion in restaurant sports
The national team of the Restaurant Sports Federation of the Kingdom of Morocco won the title of world champion at the 9th World Restaurant Sports Championship WFRS Russia. Competitions were held in St. Petersburg from 21 to 25 October 2026.
The championship was attended by foreign teams and professionals of the restaurant industry from around the world. St. Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia, became a platform for an international meeting, where participants demonstrated a high level of skill, professionalism and a bright competitive spirit. The event was held with the full support of Rossotrudnichestvo.
WFRS is the World Restaurant Sports Federation, uniting professionals and teams who are close to restaurant craftsmanship and competitive format. WFRS Championships give participants the opportunity to present their skills on an international platform and exchange experience with colleagues from different countries.
As a result of the competition, the main trophy - the WFRS Grand Prix Cup - and gold medals went to Morocco. The national team of the Kingdom confirmed the high level of preparation and became the owner of the championship title.
The 10th World Restaurant Sports Championship will be held in Morocco in the summer of 2027.
