Alexander Lukashenko: Grain harvesting is only mid-season
Large-scale harvesting of vegetables, potatoes, sugar beet and flax will be ahead, the President emphasized.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a working trip to Shklovsky district of the Mogilev region said that the completion of grain harvesting does not mean the end of agricultural work. The head of state visited the Diana farm, which specializes in potato cultivation, the press service of the Belarusian leader reports.
According to the Belarusian leader, farmers have to perform a huge amount of tasks. In the fields remain flax, corn on silage, corn on grain and sugar beets. At the same time, the quality of flax harvesting caused severe criticism from the President - he noted that responsible persons should be brought to serious responsibility for such work, stressing the need for the highest culture of agriculture.
“Grain harvesting is just the middle. And then there's the borsch set, all kinds of cultures. Potatoes are separate. We still have a lot of work to do, Alexander Lukashenko summed up.
The President urged to keep close attention to this topic and ensure the organized conduct of all subsequent stages of the harvesting campaign. Recall that the grain harvest in the republic was called a record, but the year 2025 itself is estimated as the hardest for agriculture. In assessing future work, it is necessary to start from the high base of last year, when 11.1 million tons of grain were received.
