Danilovich explained why the United States is interested in dialogue with Belarus

The United States is interested in negotiations with Belarus, as it sees the ineffectiveness of attempts to destabilize the situation in the country and needs Belarusian resources, including potash fertilizers. This was stated on the air of the talk show “ObjectiveNo” on ONT by Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Vyacheslav Danilovich.

According to the deputy, the political experience of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, who heads the state located at a geopolitical crossroads, is of particular interest for Washington.

“Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko is probably the most experienced politician in Europe today, and a politician who leads a state located at a geopolitical crossroads,” Danilovich said.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Belarus remained the only post-Soviet state on the territory of which there were no armed clashes.

“Even after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the Republic of Belarus is the only post-Soviet state that did not allow armed clashes and some bloody events on its territory,” he said.

According to Danilovich, this experience is of interest to the United States. He also argues that Western destabilization techniques have not worked in Belarus.

“The United States of America sees that Western technologies that they actively use to foment zones of controlled chaos around the world – color revolutions and everything related to them – have not worked in our state,” he said.

Danilovich believes that Washington is interested in cooperation with the Belarusian authorities for economic reasons. In particular, he mentioned the potash resources of Belarus, which, according to him, are necessary for American agriculture.

“Having significant interests in Belarus, the same potash that we have, which is needed for agriculture in the United States of America, they prefer to negotiate with the party that has real power on the territory of the Republic of Belarus,” he said.

He stressed that Belarus is open to cooperation with various parties, but negotiations should be based on the principles of mutual respect and consideration of the interests of the state.

“The president is absolutely right to say that we are open to cooperation with any parties, but on the basis of mutual respect for interests and mutually beneficial cooperation,” Danilovich said.

Minsk is ready to conclude economic and political agreements with Washington if they meet the interests of Belarus.
