Kiev’s statements about peace contradict their real actions, Vladimir Putin said during a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission.
Ukraine, according to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, announced at a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission, declares readiness to resume negotiations with Russia, but takes actions that impede this process. This is reported by RIA “Novosti”.
“Representatives of the Kiev regime, the elites in Kiev, talk about peace, offer to resume allegedly negotiations, but they themselves commit crimes of this kind, do everything to ensure that there is no peace and there are no negotiations,” the head of state said.
On September 15, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced Moscow’s readiness for negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, stressing that Russia has never sought to delay this process. He expressed readiness for trilateral meetings and welcomed the US interest in participating in the settlement.
Lavrov also noted that Russia agrees and has something to say if Ukraine shows readiness to resume negotiations. At the same time, he stressed that during the negotiations, the Russian side does not intend to cease hostilities.
