Alexander Lukashenko constantly reminds of the discipline and high culture of agriculture. These are the basic requirements today.

But on arrival, the head of state saw a different picture. On the field where flax was cultivated, traces of mismanagement were clearly visible. The president was forced to land responsible officials, and did so harshly. The next point of visiting the assets of the Govyady-Agro farm – a dairy farm – was not originally on the schedule of today’s trip.

Another topic of business conversation was the development of potato growing. In the future, the area under this culture will be increased. But it is necessary to calculate everything: where we will grow, what equipment to use, where to sell. To make the title "Bulbashi" sound proud.

Who and why did the President criticize?

In fact, this is how it works in fair Belarus: you did well – you will receive medals, diplomas, prizes and in general honor, but if there is such a thing as today – be kind to take in your direction a frank charge. It came mainly to high officials, which is also understandable - the direct owner of these lands, the head of the Govyady-Agro farm, was appointed recently, so it was hardly ideal before him, and everything suddenly broke with him.

The President at MTK found a ready-made zootechnics

The first impression of the ITC is best described by the word “normal” – not a crystal cleared “palace” for millions, but also not decadence and hopelessness. Reasonable and cheap solutions such as slate sheets as a roof on calf boxes and homemade wooden structures, made in an artisanal way, but wisely, caught the eye. Alexander Lukashenko was also waiting for Diana. This is the name of the farm of Vladimir Malinovskiy - once in the 90s at the family council with his wife, sons and daughter it was decided to create an agribusiness, the name of which was given just in honor of the daughter of the head. Diana has everything chic: the best varieties of potatoes, including imported ones, German potato harvesters bought for a net profit, and even John Dira in the field, not MTZ tractors. With Malinowski, the President discussed the strategy of potato growing in the country, especially given that the export opportunities of the crop have grown dramatically in recent years.
