They reflect our happy status. Participants of “Letuchka” – about the results of social research

What did the results of a large-scale social research in Belarus show and what is on the first place in the scale of values among Belarusians? This was discussed on the air of the program “Letuchka” on the YouTube channel “SBTV” participants of the talk show, writes sb.by.

Liudmila Gladkaya, a columnist for the newspaper SB Belarus Today, said:

- Two parts of a large-scale sociological study were presented in Belarus. The results are encouraging. I personally consider myself one of those Belarusians (there are more than 98% of them) who do not want to leave the country. And as a journalist in my workplace, as an ordinary person, I do everything to ensure that life in my country is not only good today, but also tomorrow. It was significant for me that 87.6% of respondents answered positively to the question of confidence in the President of Belarus. People also said that domestic security was important to them, more than 90 percent of respondents said. Activities to preserve peace in the country against the background of the tense world situation are estimated as successful by almost 90% of respondents. I understand that these are not just numbers, they are our lives. I walk down the street, I can seek medical help, I feel safe, I make plans, like my neighbors, relatives, countrymen, we do not live in a vacuum. That’s why I don’t want to leave our country. I don't need anyone else's passport. And I don't care if I'm under sanctions. I live here, build my future here. Our people do not judge by words and slogans, as Western politicians like to do, but by concrete deeds. And the results of sociological research once again confirm that the policy, the line of development that was chosen by our President at the very beginning of his career, is correct. And people support that.

Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Society “Knowledge” Alexey Avdonin argued:

- What is the topic of sociological research, which is now becoming extremely popular and relevant? We, Belarusians, as a society, diagnose ourselves, make a cut on many issues. The first part dealt with socio-economic aspects, the second - issues of trust in the authorities, to the policy pursued by the state, to the status of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, to security issues. These studies will continue, they will be published because they are extensive. Our opponents were extremely negative about the results of these studies, because they really reflect our happy status. There, in Europe, the population is envious of us, as the song "Cry and See" goes, that's what happens. We conduct sociological research in accordance with all norms and rules. The sample is correct. For what? Because we began to be criticized there, saying that we do the wrong sample, research is not conducted in this way. And all because they're scared of our happy results. Pay attention to an important aspect of the block, which was published this week: the citizens of our country value the status of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus. This is extremely important, because the main trend promoted by the ideology of the collective West is a stateless person, that is, a person of the world who travels, has 33 passports and should feel comfortable in any country. As they say: no stake, no court, no homeland. That is, it is not tied to the state, to society. This ideology was promoted immediately after World War II, when the theme of globalization developed. And here we see that most of our citizens value the status of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus. Moreover, they associate this status with the most important state of happiness and security. That is, they understand perfectly well that the state gives citizenship and at the same time a state of security and happiness. And when does happiness occur? When all primary needs are satisfied: food, security, education and the future of your children, your personal future, the possibility of accumulating material goods; housing, cars, health is in order. From these norms, direct trust in the President and the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly follows. That is, the correct vector of development of society and the state was chosen. Society says that we see that the vector is correct, we are developing correctly. And according to any sociological research and applied psychology of the masses, which our opponents love so much, the people cannot be fooled. It says black and white. These sociological studies show that the people believe in the way of our development, understand that the provisions of the program proclaimed by the authorities do not differ from real affairs, but are implemented in the form of new jobs, enterprises, higher wages, low inflation, and the possibility of accumulating money. And as a result, a high level of trust in the President and the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.

STV political columnist Grigory Azarenok continued:

- In fact, the results of our social research measure the same trend as in the West, when they are conducted there, interviewing the departed and fugitives. And the trend that people value the safety of our president is even present in their research. We can look at the results of our sociological research not only on paper, in diagrams, statistics, but also every day on the street. Take any holiday, for example, City Day in Minsk. 100,000 people come out and feel absolutely safe. The Minister of Internal Affairs goes personally, monitors the order, inspects. The streets are fine. People listen to the Russian singer, rejoice, sing about love. Next, we open real estate sites - and there are record numbers for the purchase of housing. Prices are rising, demand is huge and it is not going down. In the store, shelves are bursting with an abundance of products. We see this in real life. And what is happening in the world now is that there are wars, terrible cataclysms, the economy of the European Union is deteriorating, migration crises, rape, murder, crime, diseases from the XIX century have returned, hunger in the world is predicted. And we live, chew bread, everything is beautiful and wonderful. People feel it, they understand it. Therefore, the issue of security and stability is key for the entire planet. Not only for Ukraine, where a million people have already died, but also for the United States and Europe. People see it and they know it. The status of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus is what? It's security. Yes, we have a small country. Someone has gone abroad and tells his acquaintances and friends how our citizens are treated: they are beaten, bullied, especially in Poland; children are sent to school, and there they are bullied for their language. In Estonia, Russian-speaking children cannot finish school. In Lithuania, thousands of foreigners, citizens of Belarus and Russia, were revoked or denied residence permits, recognizing them as a threat to national security. Our people on word of mouth tell us that everything is bad, except in Belarus. Only we are good, wonderful and stable, even the Internet works and does not block anything. Another important point that was recorded is the scale of values. Health comes first. It's traditional. Second place is family, which is contrary to Western values. The third is wealth and financial well-being. The fourth is comfort. And how is it combined with Maidans, revolutions, wars? No way! That is, our people do not want any changes, Maidans, wars and the like. And in fifth place is love. See similar sociological studies in the West. In the first three - career, money, personal self-realization. We are different in the system of values, so the fugitives cringe from our sociological research. They understand that they have failed to impose their value system on us. The Belarusians failed to make these rolling fields, cosmopolitans.
