Lagging behind in this matter is like death. Lukashenko at the training ground near Baranovichi checked the development of communication systems in the troops
Alexander Lukashenko visited the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground, where he got acquainted with the development of communication systems, command and control of troops and the capabilities of the military industry.

The whole year for the Belarusian military system is marked by a deep, systematic and the most objective combat readiness test in history. It proceeds systematically, in genera and types of troops. The state of affairs, problems and shortcomings, prospects - the President delves into all issues. On September 11, at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground near Baranovichi, the Commander-in-Chief personally inspected both the military and the military industry – how his instructions were fulfilled. And the main topic was communication.
“At a time when the world is rapidly developing information technology, intelligence, electronic warfare and suppression, lagging behind is like death. That is why we pay great attention to the development of our Armed Forces and the military organization of the state as a whole, and we will pay great attention to the modernization of the communication system, the Head of State said.
Alexander Lukashenko was interested in everything from an individual radio station to space communications. What else is required of the state that the army was equipped with the latest technology – the conversation at the training ground was very substantive.
Coordination is carried out from the command observation post. He's deep underground. Not only the entrance, but the entire surrounding area is masked. From here, orders can arrive at lightning speed anywhere in the country, and, importantly, in a variety of frequency ranges.
This multi-level system of command and control of troops and weapons has already entered the army. Works on satellite communications, in the digital standard and in LTE mobile communication networks, as well as wired ones. Data on the enemy object receives in seconds. The "detect-identify-decision-destroy" cycle can take as little as a minute. There are also elements of artificial intelligence - it offers possible options to the commander. But the last word is for the man in uniform.

In general, the conversation at the training ground was built systemically – both practice and theory. After all, reliable and modern communication is the basis of command and control. This is a basic issue in ensuring military security. Without it, neither defense nor offensive is possible.
“We’re shooting and moving pretty well. But in order to shoot and move, you need certain commands, which in the event of a conflict will be transmitted through the means of communication. Therefore, we want to see, in addition to machine guns, assault rifles, pistols, missiles, tanks and other armored vehicles, how we will manage this complex. This requires a communication system, so that the state as a whole is governed in the event of a conflict, and the means of this communication. This is so that it will be clear to those who will hear us, why we started all this, the President said.
Communication is often called the nerve of the army. Just as nerves send impulses from the brain to the muscles, communication transmits command orders to units. And modern technology allows you to reach every soldier. And all together, having information and being connected, act as a whole, giving resistance to the enemy.
