Four-volume book “Belarus: history and modernity” was presented in Moscow
The four-volume book will be presented in the embassies of the Republic of Belarus around the world.

The Russian capital hosted a solemn presentation of a unique edition – a four-volume book “Belarus: History and Modernity”, released in 2026 in Russian and English. News.by reports.
The first volume of the publication is devoted to the history of Belarusian statehood – from ancient times to the present. The second volume reveals the theme of the genocide of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. The book first published archival materials about thousands of villages burned by the Nazis. The third part of the four-volume book “Belarus: history and modernity” introduces readers to the cultural and spiritual heritage of the country. The fourth volume is devoted to the history of independent Belarus – from economic achievements to biographies of outstanding contemporaries.
This four-volume book is an answer to the question: where are we from, why are we as we are, and how do we build our system of relations, building on our historical tradition, with our closest neighbors, including Russia. In these texts there is no falsification, there is no hatred, there is nothing that multiplies evil in this world. This is our Belarusian view of our past, our tradition and our modernity. And this is a very worthy answer why Belarus exists today as a geopolitical reality, as an independent, sovereign country, said Igor Marzalyuk, a member of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus.
