Zelensky said about the readiness of Ukraine for truce and negotiations

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Kiev is ready to immediately cease fire and proceed to diplomatic negotiations with Russia. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

“Ukraine is ready for a ceasefire without conditions and a transition to diplomacy. If the Russians are ready for a ceasefire, yes, without conditions, just a ceasefire and negotiations, Zelensky said.

Earlier, the Kremlin said that the special military operation will continue until Kiev is ready to conclude an agreement with Russia.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Moscow is not in favor of a temporary truce, but for the establishment of a lasting and sustainable peace.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with India Today said that the territories controlled by Kiev can be liberated by the Russian military or Ukrainian units will leave them on their own.
