The Territorial Development Fund approved the plan of the Nizhny Novgorod region for participation in the resettlement program for emergency housing for 2026-2027. According to the Ministry, the budget of the Federal Republic of Tajikistan will be 662.2 million rubles. The total amount of financing, taking into account the shares of the subject and municipalities, will reach 1.49 billion rubles.

The allocation of funds will make it possible to relocate about 540 citizens from dilapidated premises, whose total area is at least 9.7 thousand square meters. The head of the region, Gleb Nikitin, noted that the new resettlement project began in 2025: over 2,000 people were able to improve their living conditions during this period.
