The head of the city of Smolensk Alexander Novikov said that during the night, the specialists of the Smolensk Generation (part of the RIR Energy) eliminated the accident on the heating grid. During this time, they replaced the sections of the two pipelines and completed the welding work. Now the system is filled with heat carrier, and the pit is filled with earth.

When the excavation work is completed, road services will restore the asphalt. It is planned that tomorrow the movement on the Big Soviet Street in both directions will be open.
