16-year-old took the order from the network and got caught by the FSB

In the Kurgan region detained 16-year-old boy accused of public justification of terrorism. According to investigators, in August 2026, he performed the task of unknown people from the Internet, according to the Investigative Committee for the Kurgan region.

The teenager aerosol-painted several inscriptions on administrative buildings in two settlements. These inscriptions contained slogans justifying the activities of the organization, which is recognized as a terrorist in Russia. He was promised a monetary reward for the task.

The illegal activity of the minor was stopped by operatives of the FSB of Russia in the Kurgan region. The young man was detained by an investigator. He confessed.

With the participation of the teenager, a test was conducted on the spot. He pointed to buildings and objects where he left forbidden inscriptions and symbols.

Currently, investigators together with operatives establish all the circumstances of the incident and check the possible involvement of the young man in other crimes. The investigation intends to apply to the court with a petition for the election of a preventive measure.
