Teachers of the Murmansk region received cash certificates for their work

A forum of education workers of the Murmansk region was held in Murmansk. This was reported by the Ministry of Information Policy of the region.

Governor Andrey Chibis met with teachers and presented them with federal and regional awards for their contribution to the education of young northerners. The best municipal management teams in the field of education received certificates for 750 thousand rubles. Representatives of school teams were awarded certificates for 550 thousand rubles for effective career guidance work with students.

In total, there are 130 schools in the Murmansk region, where almost 80 thousand young northerners study. Over eight years, more than 206 billion rubles were invested in education. This year’s funding has exceeded $33 billion – almost twice as much as seven years ago.

In addition, this year the graduates showed high results in the exam. The number of stable works in the Murmansk region has doubled to 43. The share of those who choose physics, chemistry, biology and computer science reached 38.1 percent.
