Retro-cars drove 200 km on the roads of Leningrad region and Karelia

This weekend on the territory of the Leningrad region and the Republic of Karelia is a retro rally "10 lakes". The cars that saw the types started on October 10 at the Igor Drive circuit in the Priozersky district and headed towards the Karelian city of Lakhdenpokhya.

This weekend on the territory of the Leningrad region and the Republic of Karelia is a retro rally "10 lakes". The cars that saw the types started on October 10 at the Igor Drive circuit in the Priozersky district and headed towards the Karelian city of Lakhdenpokhya.

The current rally is the 24th in a row. The rally is attended by the best examples of Soviet and foreign automotive industry of the last seventy years. These are Moskvich-412, GAZ-24-10 Volga, Audi 1932, Volga 1961, Mercedes-Benz W124, Saab 1955 and others.

The organizers define the competition as a family-tourist trip. Therefore, not only experienced athletes participate, but also beginners.

On the road, car crews wait for tasks and quests on the history and culture of the region. After the finish – prize draw, thematic quiz and awarding the winners.
