In the chat of the organizer appeared information about the concert West and money for tickets

In a telegram chat, Say Agency promised a refund if cancelled, with organisers saying they were doing their best to host the show. Viewers demand specifics due to delayed announcements

In a telegram chat agency Say Agency, responsible for organizing the performance of American rapper Kanye West in St. Petersburg, there was a message that in the event of cancellation of the concert, the audience will receive a refund.

However, the organizers did not deny the fact of the event.

Speaking on behalf of Say Agency, a person with the nickname farukh apologized “for not being able to come to you with official information in the previously designated time” (the administrator of the Say Agency community in the social network “Vkontakte” is called Farukh Khujanazarov).

The representative explained the pause by the fact that some aspects of the organization of the event are beyond the direct control of the agency. The team is doing their best to put the show on scheduled dates, he said, but has no plans to call a deadline ahead of time.

In the event of cancellation of the Kanye West concert, the cost of purchased tickets will be returned to the audience in due course. We will publish details of the return process if such a decision is made, the agency said.

Despite the explanations, the status of the concert in St. Petersburg remains uncertain. Angry users gathered under the post – demanding specifics from the agency, asking whether to “get the service” and accusing the organizers of using AI to write an apology.

Users in the chat also sent a message to the General Director of the concert Agency SAY Agency Anna Subcheva, previously announced the appeal on this occasion “Monday until 18:00”, which has not yet taken place.

In August, West’s concert director Joseph Carre announced on his Instagram account (owned by the Meta Corporation, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) that the rapper will give two concerts in St. Petersburg on October 10 and 11 at Gazprom Arena.

There, tickets went on sale, an announcement was posted, but about a week later, the site said that the lease agreement with the organizer was not concluded. Later, the poster of the speech disappeared from the Gazprom Arena website.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee on culture of St. Petersburg Stanislav Moldovanov also said that the event was not agreed with the city authorities.

On September 18, West's concerts in St. Petersburg disappeared from the schedule on the official website of his tour. After that, Subcheva said that the dates were removed because of the “chaos” around concerts in Russia. She explained the disappearance as an "unprecedented action of the hat" and assured that the concerts will return to the poster after all decisions have been made.
