Patel responded to Wilkins' publication of the heart and ring emoji.
The couple began dating in January 2023. The age difference between them is 18 years. Wilkins was born in Boston in 1998 and starred in TV series as a child. Patel was born in 1980 to Indian immigrants.
Patel earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and history from the University of Richmond and graduated from Pace University Law School.
He held several positions in the U.S. administration, including Chief of Staff to the Acting Secretary of Defense, Deputy Assistant to the President, and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council.
He became head of the FBI in February 2025, his candidacy was approved by the Senate.
