The operation was conducted by the Western Hemisphere Joint Task Force on October 4.
“Intelligence confirmed the vessel’s active involvement in drug trafficking. Four "narcoterrorists" were killed in the operation, SOUTHCOM said.
Earlier, in December 2025, the United States struck a ship in the Eastern Pacific, which, according to American intelligence, was used to transport drugs. The operation was conducted by the Joint Task Force South Spear in international waters. As a result, four people were killed.
