After three cold days, warming will begin in Moscow. In the capital on October 5, mainly cloudy weather is expected, in some places a small rain is possible, Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist of the Phobos weather center, said.
In the afternoon, the temperature will rise to plus 12-14 degrees, in the suburbs - up to plus 10-15 degrees. The southwest wind will blow at a speed of 3-8 m per second. Atmospheric pressure will decrease and will be about 746 mm Hg, which is close to normal.
Warming is due to the influence of the warm sector of the distant North Atlantic cyclone. The temperature background will slightly exceed the climatic indicators.
Some rain is also expected on Tuesday. At night, the temperature will be plus 7-9 degrees, in the afternoon the air will warm up to plus 12-14 degrees.
Earlier, Leus said that the night of October 2 in Moscow was the coldest since the beginning of autumn. At the base weather station of the capital, located at VDNKh, the temperature dropped to plus 3.2 degrees. This is 1.2 degrees below the previous low recorded on the last day of September.
