The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 6. The helicopter of JSC "Kamchatka Aviation Enterprise" performed flight PTK 9409 on the route Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Elizovo) - base Zhupanov - Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (Elizovo). All three crew members suffered minor injuries.
Rescuers evacuated them on the Mi-8 aircraft of the Kamchatka regional search and rescue base, subordinated to Rosaviation. The investigation of the causes of the accident will be carried out by the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) with the participation of the Kamchatka Interregional Territorial Administration of Rosaviatsiya.
The investigation will be conducted in accordance with the rules of investigation of aviation accidents and incidents with civil aircraft (PRAPI-98).
"The key goal of the investigation is to establish the causes of the disaster and take measures to prevent them in the future," the statement said.
In late September, in the Mainsky district of the Ulyanovsk region, a small-engine aircraft used to irrigate fields made a hard landing. The aircraft was damaged, the pilot with injuries was taken to the hospital.
