From March 1, 2027, changes in the rules for conducting the examination for obtaining a driving license come into force, follows from the government decree.
The document clarifies the requirements for the hardware and software complex for the theoretical exam. The automated system will have to ensure that the driver candidate is photographed during the examination.
The results of the exam can be canceled if it turns out that the applicant used communication, photo, audio and video equipment, electronic computing equipment, reference materials and other means of storing and transmitting information.
In addition, the examinee will not be able to provide a medical report if there is information about it in the register.
By the same decree, the Russian government reduced from six months to 60 days the period during which a practical examination for rights is appointed in case of successful completion of a theoretical one. In addition, a theoretical or practical examination may be carried out later than the deadlines established by law on the application of the examinee.
