Forecaster told about the baric comb in Moscow on October 7

On Wednesday, October 7, warm and sunny weather is expected in Moscow, according to the forecast of Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist of the Phobos meteorological center.

According to the weather forecaster, the change in weather conditions is due to the influence of the baric comb, which comes from the southwest. Against the background of growing atmospheric pressure, clouds gradually disappear from the sky, the probability of rain is reduced to zero.

Today, the air in Moscow will warm up to plus 16 degrees, which exceeds the climatic norm by 3-4 degrees. In the suburbs, the temperature will vary from plus 12 to plus 17 degrees. The wind is expected to be westerly at a speed of 4–9 m/s.

“Atmospheric pressure will increase to 749 mm Hg, which is slightly higher than normal,” Leus warned.

On Thursday, Muscovites also expect dry weather. The temperature at night will drop to plus 3-5 degrees, and in the afternoon again rise to plus 13-15 degrees. Forecaster noted that such weather conditions are not uncommon for early October, but a few degrees warmer than usual.

Earlier, the specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Evgeny Tishkovets predicted that during the week the air temperature in the capital will fluctuate from plus 11 to plus 15 degrees. On Friday, the air can warm up to plus 18 degrees, this day may be the warmest since the beginning of October.
