The Ministry explained the project on payment for the provision of public services through mail and MFC
The establishment of fees for receiving applications for public services and delivery of documents through the “Mail of Russia” and the MFC is necessary to ensure the availability of services for all residents of the country, the Ministry said

The draft government resolution on establishing fees for accepting applications for public services and delivery of ready-made documents through the Russian Post and multifunctional centers (MFCs) is needed to ensure the availability of these services for residents of the country. This was reported by RBC in the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
Earlier, the Agency has developed a draft resolution, according to which “Mail of Russia” and MFC will receive funds for two services: receiving applications for public services and their delivery to recipients, as well as delivery and delivery of ready-made documents. In accordance with the project, the cost of one such service should not exceed 5 thousand rubles.
As explained by RBC in the Ministry, the project will provide an additional source of income for the “Mail of Russia” and will allow it to direct the received funds to the salary of employees. In addition, the initiative will ensure the availability of public, municipal and postal services for the population, especially for citizens living in remote settlements.
As indicated in the draft resolution, it was prepared in pursuance of amendments to the law “On postal services” and related acts, which allowed the organizations of the Federal postal service to provide for a fee services for receiving applications on “State services” and delivery of results. In accordance with the innovations, such services are provided at the choice of the applicant, and their procedure and fee is determined by the government.
The amendments themselves became part of the reform of the “Mail of Russia”: the company received the right to act as a “commercial analogue of the MFC” and accept applications on “State Services” for a fee.
