The pilot of the airline flydubai Hamam al-Hammami, suspected of intending to crash the plane, allegedly preparing to commit a similar attack last summer, writes The Wall Street Journal.

It happened in July, it was flying on the same route (Dubai-Tel Aviv). According to the newspaper, the pilot changed his mind because he was worried about one of the crew members. Channel Seven reported earlier that the man had changed plans due to a close relationship with one of the crew members.

The WSJ found out that the pilot deliberately tried to get a job with an airline flying to Israel, and he told investigators that the motive was the war in the Gaza Strip.

The incident occurred on the morning of September 30 on flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv. There were 174 passengers on board, including 27 children. The pilot injured a colleague and tried to break the board.
