Cyprus Visa Application Centres have temporarily stopped accepting applications in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Novosibirsk due to technical problems. This was reported by BLS International, a company that receives and processes visa documents.
The announcement clarifies that the Consulates of Cyprus in Moscow and St. Petersburg are currently unable to accept and process applications for entry visas. Measures are being taken to eliminate problems, the resumption of work will be reported additionally.
"Applicants who have active entries in the BLS will be accepted on the basis of an old record when the service resumes," it said.
Visa centers in Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Tashkent and Minsk will continue to operate as usual.
In June 2026, BLS International visa centers in Russia suspended applications. Then the Embassy of Cyprus explained this by the expiration of the contract with the operator. Applications were temporarily accepted in the consular department of the embassy in Moscow and consulates general in St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Krasnodar. Since July 6, the reception of documents through BLS has resumed, the Embassy of Cyprus said after the resumption of cooperation with the company.
