Three cities from the list are in the Pskov region: Bottom, Opochka and Tortalovo. In the Irkutsk region, the list includes Winter and Bodaibo, in Murmansk – Kandalaksha, in Omsk – Nazovaevsk. Also in the top were Puchezh in the Ivanovo region, Pyt-Yakh in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District, Labytnangi in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District and Dagestan Lights in Dagestan.
On April 1, Rosreestr published a list of geographical objects of Russia with the most ridiculous names. Most of the funny names are concentrated in the Amur region. Rosreestr also mentioned a village called Khokhotui in the Trans-Baikal Territory, it has existed there for 125 years.
