The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a magnitude 7.6 earthquake in Panama on Friday evening. The epicenter was located 10 km south-west of the village of Pitalosa Arriba. The hearth lay at a depth of 33 km. Later, the Institute of Geosciences of the University of Panama specified that the magnitude of the earthquake was 7.2.
