Monthly cash payments, including disability payments, are indexed annually. “2027 and beyond is no exception.” From February 1, these payments will be indexed according to the actual inflation of 2026, which is currently estimated at 6.8% in the forecast, Golikova said.
Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister also said that in 2027 Russia will return to double indexation of pensions. The first will be held from February 1, taking into account the actual inflation for 2026, the second – on April 1, the calculation of which will take into account the growth rate of the wage fund for 2026.
The procedure for indexation of insurance pensions in Russia was changed in 2019: payments began to increase once a year, from January 1. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced plans to return to two-stage indexation in July 2025.
