“On Monday, the weather will deteriorate. The synoptic situation will be caused by the warm sector of the Atlantic cyclone. In Moscow and in the region, overcast and rainy weather is predicted - up to 3-5 liters of water per square meter will fall, in the morning a thunderstorm rare for October is not excluded in places, the report says.
At night, the temperature will not fall below 10-13 degrees, which is 10 degrees above the climatic norm. During the day, the air will warm up to plus 16 degrees.
On Tuesday, heavy rains are expected in Moscow, the air temperature will remain at plus 10-13 degrees.
On Wednesday and Thursday, the rains will ease, in some places clarification is possible. At night there will be plus 6-9 degrees, in the afternoon - 9-12, the weather forecaster notes.
On Friday, the weather will improve - the air will warm up to plus 14 in the afternoon. In the morning, fog is possible. The same weather will continue on Saturday and is expected to worsen again on Sunday.
At the end of October, in Central Russia and the Volga region, a cooling is possible: at night the temperature can drop to zero, in the afternoon - to plus 2-5 degrees. The first wet snow is not excluded, but other forecasts do not yet confirm this, Tishkovets stressed.
September was one of the warmest in the history of observations in Moscow. As reported by the head of the prognostic center “Meteo” Alexander Shuvalov, the average temperature of September was plus 14.1 degrees. For comparison, September 2024 was three degrees warmer - its average temperature reached plus 17.1 degrees, and it remains a record for anomalies.
