In Moscow launched a large-scale project to protect children from fraud, said the Minister of the government of Moscow, head of the Department of education and science of the capital Irina Kaklyugina in an interview with IS “Vesti”.
“A large-scale project has been launched, in which in all schools and in all colleges in Moscow we tell children how to protect themselves from fraudsters and how not to involve themselves in committing a crime,” she said.
According to her, within the framework of the project, children are taught how to behave in social networks, instant messengers and online games so as not to fall into the tricks of fraudsters. For young children, specialized cartoons are shown as part of the lessons “Talk about the important”, which tell how not to become a victim of intruders.
“And for high school students, we show specially shot videos based on real events,” the head of the department added.
According to her, 800,000 children in schools and colleges have already watched the videos.
“We are seeing a tremendous result from this. It is very important for us that the child not only can recognize the threat, but also that he can properly respond to it, said Kaklyugina.
She also added that the project attracted bloggers popular with young people, who in their blogs also tell how not to fall for the bait of scammers.
“If necessary, we are ready to share our best practices and experience with all subjects,” the head of the department concluded.
Last week, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko said that Russia plans to introduce a system of red and green buttons to quickly block all operations on the Internet.
