Employees of the Domodedovo customs found in the parcel an air watch with an increased level of radiation - it was 20 times higher than the natural background radiation. This was reported by the press Secretary of the Domodedovo customs Elena Martynova.

The package was addressed to a resident of Udmurtia. It contained a bag and a backpack with a watch inside it. The radiation monitoring system worked on them.

“The test showed that on the surface of the device the level of ionizing radiation is 2.75 μSv/h. The goods were dangerous for domestic use, the press service said.

In the documents, the sender indicated that he was sending the keys, bag, backpack and clothes.

According to the results of sanitary and quarantine control, Rospotrebnadzor established a discrepancy between the contents of the parcel and single sanitary requirements. The import of goods into the territory of the Russian Federation is prohibited, the parcel will be returned to the country of departure, the press service noted.
