A group of ten Russian tourists stuck on the track in Nepal due to flooding, evacuated by helicopter, told TASS the representative of the group Maria.
“We are all right, just an army helicopter took everyone to Arugat, a village down the river from where there is an intact road to Kathmandu and Pokhara. We're very happy. Thank you all for your help, she said.
As reported earlier in the Russian Embassy in Kathmandu, the tourists on October 11 went to trekking around the mountain Manaslu, but the flood destroyed roads and trails, because of which the Russians were blocked in the village of Jagat in Gorkha district.
