Snow in Moscow may fall in the last week of October, perhaps the appearance of snow cover, told “IS Vesti” leading specialist of the weather center “Phobos” Evgeny Tishkovets.

The probability of falling the first snow in Moscow will appear in the last week of October. There may even be temporary snow cover on the ground, he said.

As previously reported by another leading specialist of the center “Phobos” Mikhail Leus, in the XXI century, the average date of first snowfall in Moscow falls on October 18, and the first snow cover, as a rule, is formed on November 3.

“There is a high probability that both these phenomena will be noted in the capital significantly later than the average multi-year timeframe,” he wrote.
