The average cost of booking premium tours increased by almost 27%

The average cost of booking premium tours in 2026 increased by almost 27% over the year and reached 449 thousand rubles, and the duration of the holiday increased to 8.3 nights. Such data were received by analysts of the Onlinetours Premium premium tour booking service, which was reviewed by RBC.

“The average check for booking premium tours in 2026 increased by 26.5% compared to the same period last year and reached 449 thousand rubles against 355 thousand rubles in 2025,” the company said.

Average rest time increased from 7.6 nights in 2025 to 8.3 nights in 2026. At the same time, the increase in booking costs was accompanied by an increase in the duration of trips.

In 2026, the share of five-star hotels in the booking structure increased to 84% against 80% a year earlier. Another 13% of orders were for four-star hotels. At the same time, business class flights were found in only 0.2% of bookings for which the class of service was determined.

The largest share of five-star hotels among premium bookings is recorded in Turkey - 95%. In Vietnam, the figure reached 90%, in Egypt – 88%. In Thailand, 55% of bookings were five-star hotels, more than 40% - four-star. In the Maldives, the ratio was 61% and 38% respectively.

Turkey retained the top spot among Onlinetours Premium destinations, accounting for about half of all bookings. The second position was taken by the Maldives with a share of 11%, the third - Egypt with 10%.

Over the year, the share of the Maldives increased from 6 to 11%, and Vietnam from 2 to almost 7%. The average booking check with business class flight amounted to about 1.6 million rubles, while when flying economy class it reached 447 thousand rubles.

Onlinetours Premium stressed that when selecting expensive tours, they take into account not only the category of the hotel, but also the features of a particular object: infrastructure, location and quality of service. These parameters can vary significantly even in hotels with the same number of stars.

Demand for foreign tours in Russia from January to September 2026 increased by 40% compared to the same period last year, and the average check increased by 9.7%, to 205.9 thousand rubles, analysts of Onlinetours reported. Turkey retained the first place in popularity, and Vietnam for the first time entered the top five most popular destinations.
