Child mortality from road accidents in Russia fell by 25%, said the head of the Ministry of health Mikhail Murashko. He said that now, when children are injured in such accidents, consultations are held on telemedicine.

“All of this ultimately gave us the opportunity to reduce child deaths in road traffic accidents by 25 percent.” But parents should remember, safety when transporting children first of all, the minister recalled (quoted by RIA Novosti).

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2025 the number of deaths on the roads in Russia decreased. In May, the government approved a road safety strategy. The goal of the document is to reduce by 2030 the death rate in accidents by one and a half times, and by 2036 - by half (compared to 2023), reducing the economic damage from accidents.
