The magistrate of the Durulga judicial district of Transbaikalia found a local resident guilty of distributing a fake photo of a bear in social networks. The woman was brought to justice under the article on the dissemination of “knowingly false socially significant information under the guise of reliable reports”. She confiscated the iPhone 11, which sent photos, and imposed a fine of 30 thousand rubles.

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of Transbaikalia, in early September in the social networks of the district there were photos of a bear allegedly coming to the village of Durulga. Hunters came to this place. They didn't find a predator. Later it turned out that the local resident distributed images created with the help of artificial intelligence.
