From 2027, the vocational guidance program for Moscow schoolchildren will include pupils of the eighth grade. This was reported by the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin. Initially, only students of 9th, 10th and 11th grades participated in the project.

In January next year, the authorities also plan to increase the number of testing sites for Moscow schoolchildren. The main institution will be the center of practical training “Professions of the Future” in Printers. There, teenagers will be able to try themselves as a welder, turner, cook, baker or driver of an electric train using an interactive 5D cinema and a VR simulator.

The career guidance program was launched in 2023. It takes place in several stages: students undergo testing, the results of which are deciphered by career mentors during an individual consultation.

Nine-graders were the first to join him. Since then, more than 200,000 students have been tested. According to Sergei Sobyanin, the results of the admission campaign in 2026 demonstrate the effectiveness of the program: 93% of ninth-graders who entered colleges took part in at least one of its events.
