Rospotrebnadzor appealed to the Ministry of Health of Egypt because of the poisoning of tourists from Russia

Rospotrebnadzor sent inquiries to the Ministry of Health of Egypt and the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) after reports of poisoning of Russian tourists. About this TASS told in the press service of the Ministry.

The Russian Foreign Ministry asked for the results of the investigation into the incidents at the Jolie Ville, Amphoras Blu and Cataract hotels in Sharm el-Sheikh.

Rospotrebnadzor recommended that tourists observe preventive measures - thoroughly wash their hands with soap before eating and after visiting public places, drink only bottled or boiled water, thoroughly wash fruits and vegetables. If symptoms of infection appear, it is necessary to seek medical help.

Today, Telegram channel Baza reported that in several hotels in Sharm el-Sheikh category four and five stars poisoned about 30 tourists from Russia. Vacationers complained of weakness and diarrhea. The reason for the vacationers called poor quality tap water. According to tourists, they ate only in restaurants at hotels, and the water was used to wash vegetables and fruits.
