Separately, I draw the attention of colleagues to the following: the cost of gas equipment for the house is still quite high. Here we cannot allow excessive, unjustified price growth, Putin said. According to him, the social gasification program includes paramedic and obstetric points, hospitals, polyclinics and schools. He instructed the Russian government to include rural houses of culture in this program.
At the opening ceremony, the head of Gazprom Alexey Miller spoke. He said that over the past five years, the holding has conducted gas in 2,150 settlements. “The history of the Russian gas industry, and the world, simply does not know such indicators of the scale of gasification,” Miller said. On January 1, 2026, Gazprom set a new record for technically networked natural gasification in Russia. Its level reached 91.2%.
The social gasification program was launched in 2021. Through it, gas is carried free of charge to the borders of land plots. From February 2023, the state allocates to preferential categories up to 100 thousand rubles for the conduct and connection of gas.
