According to the projects provided, the first section with a length of 3.8 km will pass from the station "Lesnaya-2" to "Kalinin Square" and will include two stations of deep laying - "Arsenal" and "Kalinin Square". The Arsenalnaya station will receive two exits to Marshal Blucher Avenue, and Kalinin Square will receive two exits at the intersection of Kondratievsky and Polyustrovsk Avenues.
The second section, 4.47 km long, will connect Kalinin Square and Ladoga-2. On this segment there will be three stations of deep laying: Polyustrovsk Prospekt-2 with a transfer to the Krasnoselsko-Kalinin line, Bolsheokhtinskaya-2 with a transfer to the planned Admiralty-Okhta line and Ladoga-2 with a transition to the Lakhta-Pravobrezhnaya line.
The prepared documentation has already passed the anti-corruption examination and will soon be sent for public discussions. The projects were commissioned by the Construction Committee.
According to Governor Alexander Beglov, the ring metro line is necessary for St. Petersburg, and the city is doing everything to comply with the construction deadlines set by the General Plan. Completion of the ring line is scheduled for 2040.
