President Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants of the All-Russian Forum of Class Leaders. The appeal was read out by the head of the president's department for public projects, Sergei Novikov.

As Vladimir Putin noted, school principals and class teachers play a huge role in the educational process. "Your work, without a doubt, requires not only deep knowledge and special competencies, but also the ability to understand and support the guys, to find talents and abilities in everyone, to help them realize them," he added (quoted on the Kremlin website).

At the end of the message, the President also congratulated teachers on the upcoming Teacher's Day, which is celebrated annually on October 5.
