We set ourselves the task to ensure that every child in the metropolis, in a small town, in a northern or Far Eastern village has equal opportunities for quality education. And the joint work of the state and business makes our common goal real, Putin said.

The President noted the contribution of large Russian companies to the construction of schools and modern laboratories, as well as the launch of programs for teachers and talented students. According to Mr. Putin, since 2019, 1.7 thousand new schools have been opened in Russia under the state program “Development of Education”, in which more than 1 million children study.

On the Teacher’s Day, which is celebrated on October 5, the President of Russia by video link participated in the opening of the educational complex “Point of the Future” in Yakutia. It was built in the village of Zhatay. Its total area is more than 50 thousand square meters. m. The center is designed for more than 1,000 places: it includes a kindergarten for 200 pupils and school buildings for 840 pupils. Also on the territory are equipped sports and health building, houses for teachers from other regions and families with adopted children.
