The Ministry of Education of Russia is implementing a proposal to create a neural network in the field of education, said the head of the department Sergey Kravtsov. The technology was proposed to introduce a computer science teacher from the Tver region Alexei Morozov. His idea was supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Vladimir Putin held a meeting via video link with laureates of all-Russian pedagogical competitions. Regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI), he noted that the technology should not reduce the quality of children’s training. The President stressed that the child should train his abilities and be interested in solving problems. The neural network could help teachers navigate the variety of programs and textbooks, the head of state explained.
