In the Tomsk region, the car hit a bear and turned over. Three people were hospitalized, the predator died, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The accident occurred on the evening of October 5 at 9 km of the Kamaevka-Asino-Pervomayskoe highway. The driver of the Ford Mondeo was a 28-year-old driver. He ran into a bear on the roadway. After the collision, the car moved into a ditch. There were two passengers in the cabin: a 19-year-old girl and a 24-year-old man.

In August-September, several Russians died from a bear attack: the victims of predators were residents of the Altai Republic, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Irkutsk region. At the end of September, two residents of the Tomsk village were killed. On the territory of the entire Tomsk region, a high alert regime was introduced due to bears. In the region, mass events outside and on the outskirts of settlements are prohibited.
