Applicants of 2027 will be able to pass the fourth exam for additional points

The fourth exam with a surcharge is a big, but not the only innovation of the admission campaign-2027. The cancellation of the multidisciplinary competition, the restriction of Olympiad benefits, prepayment for paid training – these changes will also affect the admission strategy.

According to the published draft order of the Ministry of education, in addition to the sensational allowance for “extra” exam, from 2027/28 academic year comes into force a number of related adjustments. The multidisciplinary competition is cancelled. Previously, applicants could compete within a group of related specialties without knowing in advance which one they would enroll in. According to the new rules, the competition will be held for a specific specialty or direction - you will have to determine with specifics sooner.

Olympic benefits are being cut. The right to enter without entrance tests will remain only for the winners of the All-Russian Olympiads, prize-winners are deprived of this opportunity. In addition, only the Olympiads for grades 10-11 will be considered.

New individual achievements: the certificate of the project “Code of the Future”, training in DOSAAF organizations and the medal of the Federation Council “For courage” will be included in the list of achievements that give additional points. However, these points are considered separately from the allowance for the fourth exam (15-25 points). Only for individual achievements you can get no more than 10 points.
