Barataevka airport in Ulyanovsk was closed 46 times in three months
Ulyanovsk airport named after Karamzin was in ninth place among Russian air harbors, where most often imposed temporary restrictions on flights

Karamzin Ulyanovsk Airport was in ninth place among Russian air harbors, where temporary restrictions on flights were most often introduced. Over the past 90 days, Barataevka has suspended work 46 times, and the total duration of restrictions amounted to almost a tenth of the period under review.
On average, each break in the Ulyanovsk airport lasted about four and a half hours. At this time, the air harbor temporarily stopped receiving and sending aircraft.
Such data were presented by analysts of the tourist service "Samokatus", who studied the official messages of Rosaviatsia. Experts have calculated the number of restrictions in Russian airports for three months and made the corresponding rating.
At the same time, the situation in Ulyanovsk was not the most difficult among the cities of the Volga region. Even more often, restrictions were imposed at the airports of Saratov, Penza, Samara and Kazan.
The first place in the all-Russian list took Sochi. During the same period, the local airport suspended work 142 times - more than three times more often than the Ulyanovsk airport. The three leaders also included the air harbors of Gelendzhik and Kaluga.
Thus, Barataevka was among the ten Russian airports with the most time restrictions. At the same time, these statistics reflect the frequency and duration of shutdowns, not the number of canceled or delayed flights.
