Sochi airport has prepared 230 units of equipment for winter

Sochi International Airport has completed preparations for the winter season. To work in difficult weather conditions, 230 units of special equipment were prepared, the press service of the air harbor reported.

To clean the runway will use sweeping machines and distributors of anti-icing reagents. Separate equipment is designed for processing aircraft and removing ice.

According to the airport, in winter, about 45 thousand liters of special liquid are usually consumed for processing. By the beginning of the season, its reserves were replenished by more than 60 thousand liters.

Also, experts repaired the elements of the flight field, fixed the seams and cracks, updated the markings. The staff received additional training and training.

Preparations should help the airport maintain flight safety and infrastructure in winter conditions.
