Afisha Ulyanovsk on October 11: where to go on Sunday

On Sunday, October 11, Ulyanovsk residents will be able to spend a weekend in the theater, listen to symphonic music or visit exhibitions. For children, a performance was prepared with the participation of 30 cats, and lovers of creativity are invited to a master class on painting magnets.

Cat Theatre and Children's Performances

At 12:00 in the Palace of Friendship of Peoples "Governor" will be held the play "Cats save the world" (0+). Artists of the Cat Theatre Yuri Kuklachev will perform before the audience - in total, 30 furry participants are involved in the performance.

At the Boris Alexandrov Youth Theater at 12:00 will show the play “The best day in the world” (6+). At 17:00, the comedy “A Couple of Jokes” (16+) based on the works of Anton Chekhov and Mikhail Zoshchenko will begin here.

Classical music concerts

At 12:30 in the Palace of Creativity of Children and Youth the project “World of Childhood” (6+) will open. The symphony orchestra "Governor" will perform in front of the audience together with the invited musicians.

At 17:00, the same venue will host a concert "Genius and Cinema" (6+), dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Dmitry Shostakovich. The works will be performed by the Ulyanovsk State Brass Orchestra “Power”.

Adult performances

In the drama theater named after Ivan Goncharov at 17:00 scheduled two productions. The audience will be able to choose the play “God’s Dandelions” or “Find Man”.

Both productions have an age limit of 16+. The play “Find a Man” will be held on the small stage of the theater.

Art lovers will also be able to visit the Pablo Picasso Ceramics exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts of the XX-XXI centuries or get acquainted with the works of Arkady Plastov. Museums are open from 10:00 to 18:00.
