Crimean farmers prepared for the harvest of 2027 more than 227 thousand hectares of land. This was announced on the Day of Worker of Agriculture and Processing Industry by Chairman of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov.
According to him, the agro-industrial complex of the republic continues to work and ensure food security, despite the difficulties. Perennial gardens and vineyards are still laid in the region, and the number of cattle, poultry, sheep and goats is growing.
Konstantinov noted that under the emergency regime, agricultural producers have to solve many difficult tasks, from logistics to providing enterprises with electricity and fuel. The main thing, in his opinion, is that these difficulties should not be felt by the residents of the republic.
“We are grateful to our agricultural producers and will continue to support them,” he wrote.
The Chairman of the State Council added that the authorities will contribute to the development of existing farms and the creation of conditions for the opening of new enterprises, and recently the Russian government decided to allocate 1.6 billion rubles to support the Crimean agro-industrial complex.
