The action “Affordable fish” will feed Novgorod residents with fresh and cheap fish

On Saturday, October 10, in Veliky Novgorod and Staraya Russa, the traditional action “Affordable Fish” will be held. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Novgorod region.

According to the Ministry of Health, each person should eat 28 kilograms of fish per year. While this norm remains unattainable in many regions, such actions offer a real chance to bring it closer. At the same time, residents receive not just fish, but fresh and high-quality fish directly from fishermen.

The authorities of the region consider the action an important part of the plan to develop fisheries and improve the diet of residents.
