Action in support of fire fighters of the border was held in the Kursk region

Employees and veterans of the rescue department of the Belgorod region together with representatives of the Belgorod Metropolis and colleagues from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kursk region organized a large-scale action “Roads of Life”. Its task is to unite and strengthen the morale and morale of the personnel of the fire and rescue units of the border, those who, risking their own lives, come to the aid of others.

As part of the action, its participants visited the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia with the icon of the Holy Great Martyr and healer Panteleimon - one of the most revered images in Orthodox culture. Before him, believers pray for healing from ailments, protection of soldiers and doctors, as well as for support in difficult life situations.

The delegation visited the 14th fire and rescue unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, which protects the Manturovsky district. After the service, the clergy went around all the rooms and boxes, sprinkling with holy water rescue equipment and employees. As a gift, the unit was given the icon of the Mother of God “Inextinguishable Cup” – it will be placed in the rooms of psychological unloading, and each rescuer was presented with a wearable image with the face of the Virgin.

In total, the action “Roads of Life” covered 21 fire and rescue units of the border.
